Boy Scout Troop 505

Old North State Council - BSA
Center
Methodist Church, Mocksville, NC

Boy Scout Troop 505 is an active group who call the "Scout Cabin" their home. Over the years many of the scouts have achieved "Eagle Scout" rank. The scouts go on hikes, camping trips, attend summer camp, and have fun at their regular meetings.

Over the years Troop 505 scouts have attended Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and the USS Yorktown in Charleston, South Carolina.

Scouting is both informative and fun, teaching skills that will be used for a lifetime. Some of the Eagle Scout Projects can be seen throughout the local area.

Scoutmaster Michael Baker is always happy to welcome new scouts to the Troop.
