Preschool Teacher Assistant

Our preschool is looking for a compassionate, nurturing,

and energetic individual who loves children. We are

committed to providing top quality care and education

for the children who are enrolled in our program.

Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends

our facility through a Christian based curriculum.

September – May, Monday – Thursday 8:00am-12:00pm,

monthly salary $725.

Tasks:

Welcome our families, engage them in conversations about their child’s education

General classroom cleaning (wiping tables, vacuuming, and disinfecting toys)

Prepare snacks for children

Monitor and interact with children during indoor and outdoor activities

Assist lead teachers in care and supervision of children, possibly leading some class time

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

 

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Early childhood education is preferred

Ability to pass a national background check

Ability to pass drug test

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred

 

Position Benefits:

Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 12:00pm

Preschool follows the Davie County Public School holiday and vacation calendar

Three paid sick days

Three summer months off June - August
